Who we are

RMA Jiu Jitsu Academy (“RMA”, “we”, “us”) operates two Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academies in Middle Tennessee — 7180 Nolensville Rd, Suite 2F, Nolensville, TN 37135 and 1025 WestHaven Blvd, Suite 125, Franklin, TN 37064 — and the website at rmajiujitsu.com.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you request a free trial or contact us, you may share a name, email address, phone number, the student’s age and any message you write. Trial and membership forms on this site are hosted by our membership software provider, Kicksite, and submissions go directly to them on our behalf.
• Usage information. Pages visited, approximate location, referring site, device and browser type, collected through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Cookies. Small files stored by your browser. Analytics and advertising cookies only load after you accept them in the banner on this site.

How we use it

• To reply to you and schedule your trial class.
• To manage memberships, class schedules and billing.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
• To measure our advertising and reach families looking for classes near them.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the academy and this website — our membership platform (Kicksite), analytics and tag management (Google), our website host, and email or messaging tools we use to reply to you. They may only use it to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Children’s privacy

Many of our students are children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 through this website — a parent or guardian submits enrollment and trial information on their behalf. If you believe a child has sent us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

• Decline analytics cookies in the banner, or clear cookies in your browser at any time.
• Opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
• Unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we limit access to the information we hold to staff who need it. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes

If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of this page.
